气象天文科普馆

As part of the 'Sharing The Planet' Unit of Inquiry, Grade 4 and Grade 5 students embarked on an exploratory journey to understand the dynamic changes in our climate and the consequential impacts on global communities. 

作为“分享地球”探究单元的一部分,四年级和五年级学生展开了探索之旅,以深入了解气候动态变化及其对全球社区的影响。

SHARING THE PLANET|共享地球



This unit delved into various natural disasters, scrutinising their origins and, crucially, their profound effects on human lives.

该单元详细研究了各种自然灾害,并仔细考察了其起源,重点关注它们对人类生活的深远影响

Emphasising the significance of real-world learning experiences, students were afforded the enriching opportunity to visit the Dongguan Meteorology and Astronomy Museum. 

为突显真实学习经验的重要性,学生们参观了东莞气象天文博物馆。

This excursion offered them insights into the significant rise in the planet's temperature over the last century. Students engaged with exhibits on weather phenomena and examined strategies to mitigate the risks posed by natural disasters.

这次校外出行使他们更加深入地理解上个世纪地球温度显著上升的情况。学生们探索了天气现象,并研究减轻自然灾害风险的策略。

Furthering their inquiry, students investigated the human role in climate change and deliberated on measures that can be taken to lessen our impact on the environment and reduce our carbon footprint. 

为进一步探究,他们调查了人类在气候变化中所扮演角色,并认真思考可采取的措施来减少我们对环境造成的影响、缩小碳足迹。

During this educational visit, they were tasked with gathering information and taking detailed notes. They were encouraged to engage deeply with the museum's displays and to seek clarification on any queries to enhance their understanding.

在此教育访问中,他们的任务是收集信息并做详尽笔记。他们认真观览,并就任何问题寻求澄清以增进理解力。
