Learning the times tables can be challenging for many, with ASJ  students having to memorise multiples and recall them repeatedly as quickly as possible. From basic addition and subtraction to algebra and calculus, multiplication is used throughout the entire spectrum of mathematics. With a strong grasp of multiplication, students can excel in other subjects that require mathematical understanding. Therefore, it is important for students to master their times tables and develop a strong foundation in multiplication to achieve success in their academic pursuits.

To aid students in this monumental task, they have been developing their knowledge of times tables through the award-winning online application Times Tables Rock Stars, where math mastery meets gaming fun. Recalling their multiplication facts through various single and multiplayer games, students can earn coins to customise their rock star, build self-confidence and continue on the path to becoming a rock legend!

为了帮助学生完成这项艰巨的任务，他们一直在通过在线应用程序乘法口诀表摇滚明星来练习他们的乘法技能，在这里，掌握数学技能与游戏乐趣相遇。通过各种单人和多人游戏来复习乘法知识，学生可以赚取金币来定制他们的摇滚明星，建立自信，并继续在成为摇滚传奇的道路上前进！

March 13th-14th marked the global 'Rest Of The World Rocks' competition on Times Table Rock Stars, with over 330 schools with over 3,700 classes and over 47,400 students participating worldwide. Taking part for the first time, the students raced towards the top of the leaderboard ahead of fierce competition, with average school scores determining final positions. The two-day event saw students from the Primary Years competing against other classes, fellow students, and classmates within the school, with a tightly contested leaderboard constantly changing. 

3月13日至14日是Times Table Rock Stars的全球的乘法口诀表摇滚明星大赛，全球有330多所学校的3700多个班级和47400多名学生参加。在第一次参加比赛，学生们在激烈的竞争中冲向排行榜的顶部，学校平均成绩决定最终排名。为期两天的活动中，小学的学生与其他班级、同学和学校内的同学竞争，竞争激烈的排行榜不断变化。

The competition’s conclusion provided some amazing news! ASJ secured an impressive 27th position worldwide and 1st position in China! 

比赛的结论提供了一些令人惊讶的消息！ASJ在全球取得了令人印象深刻的第27名，在中国排名第一！

Within ASJ, there were several winners in different grade levels. 

在ASJ校部，不同年级有几个获胜者。

The top three scoring classes in the school were Grade 6, Grade 2, and Grade 4. Grade 6 not only achieved 1st place in the school but also secured 1st place in China! Grades 2 and 4 also performed exceptionally well in China, clinching 4th and 5th place, respectively.

学校得分最高的三个班级是6年级、2年级和4年级。6年级不仅取得了学校第一名，而且还获得了中国第一名！2年级和4年级在中国也表现得非常好，分别获得了第4名和第5名。

Then, the highlighted and most anticipated moment for the students was the top 3 Most Valuable Players on a school and class level. The school level saw Alex (G4) clinch 1st place, Daniel (G5) in 2nd place, and Pax (G5) coming up in 3rd place. These three boys’ hard work and efforts not only rewarded them with a win in school but also saw them achieve 4th, 6th, and 11th place in China! 

接下来，最受学生们期待的时刻是学校和班级层面的3名最有价值选手。在校内，Alex(G4)获得了第一名，Daniel(G5)获得了第二名，Pax(G5)获得了第三名。这三个学生的努力不仅让他们在学校获得了胜利，也让他们获得了中国第四、第六和第十一名的成绩!
