The Sports Day of ASJ (Dongguan) Secondary Department took place on a bright and breezy day, with perfect weather setting the stage for a day filled with excitement, competition, and shared joy. Students gathered together on the sports field and sprinkled their youthful energy to create countless memories.

东莞ASJ中学部的校运会在一个阳光和煦、微风徐徐的日子里展开，完美的天气为这充满兴奋、竞争和快乐的一天奠定了基础。学生们聚集在运动场上，用青春的能量为这一天创造了无数美好的回忆。

The range of activities on the Sports Day was as varied as it was exhilarating. From the challenging javelin to the powerful shot-put, from the lightning-fast sprints to the intense tug-of-war and even the fun team race on the inflatable dragon......, each game provided a unique challenge and an opportunity for students to showcase their skills and team spirit.  The cheers and applause that accompanied each triumph and effort echoed across the field, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and support.

校运会安排的一系列丰富活动令人兴奋。从考量精准度的标枪到充满力量感的铅球，从比拼速度的短跑冲刺到激烈紧张的拔河比赛，还有充满欢声笑语的“划龙舟”游戏……各种充满挑战的体育项目为学生提供了展示技能和团队精神的机会。伴随着每一次庆祝胜利和努力的欢呼声，整个赛场上洋溢着鼓励和支持的气氛。

Students of all abilities and interests found their place in various games, each contributing to the overall success and spirit of the day.  Whether it was the thrill of crossing the finish line first in a sprint or the satisfaction of seeing a javelin soar through the air, every participant felt a sense of accomplishment and pride in their achievements.  There was a shared understanding that the Sports Day was not just about winning, but about pushing oneself to do better and celebrating the journey of growth and improvement.

拥有各种特长和兴趣的学生都在不同项目中找到了自己的位置，每个人都为当天的整体成功和精神面貌做出了贡献。无论是在短跑中第一个冲过终点线时的兴奋，还是看到标枪在空中飞过时的满足，每个参与者都为自己的成就感到满足感和自豪感。参与者能从中明白，运动会的意义不仅仅在于获胜，更在于鞭策自己做得更好，并庆祝成长和进步的历程。

Amidst the friendly competition and shared laughter, the students not only participated in sports, but also formed bonds that transcended the boundaries of the classroom.  Working together on events fostered teamwork and unity, emphasising the importance of working together towards a common goal.  These experiences not only strengthened existing friendships but also created new connections, building a sense of community and belonging among students.

在友好的竞争和共同的欢笑声中，学生们不仅参与了体育运动，还建立了超越课堂界限的联系。共同参与活动培养了团队精神和团结意识，强调了为实现共同目标而共同努力的重要性。这些经历不仅巩固了现有的友谊，还建立了新的联系，在学生之间建立了归属感。

The importance of Sports Day for our students goes far beyond the thrill of victory and the excitement of competition. It provides a platform for personal growth, teamwork and sportsmanship, and teaches valuable lessons that extend to all aspects of life. More importantly, it fosters a sense of community and school spirit, creating memories that will be cherished long after the cheers have faded.

本次运动会对我们学生的意义远远超出了胜利那一刻所带来的激动和竞争的兴奋。它为个人成长、团队合作和体育精神提供了一个平台，灌输了延伸到生活各个方面的宝贵经验，如毅力、韧性和公平竞争等。不仅如此，它培养了一种社区意识和学校精神，创造了在欢呼声过后仍值得被珍惜的记忆。
