Over the past week, ASJ (Dongguan) has been buzzing with dynamic professional exchanges with our esteemed sister schools in Hong Kong. These exchanges have not only enriched our teachers' pedagogical knowledge, but have also provided our students with a wealth of engaging and enlightening activities. The rewards of this week's interactions have been plentiful, marking a significant milestone in our school's development and emphasising the importance of fostering such collaborations.

在过去的一周里，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校与香港的姊妹学校进行了相当活跃的专业交流。这些交流活动不仅丰富了本校教师的教学知识，也为本校学生提供了丰富多彩、引人入胜的活动。过去一周的交流收获颇丰，这是本校发展的一个重要里程碑，同时也突出了促进此类协作的重要性。

Sixty-two teachers from Wong Wha San Secondary School in Hong Kong were invited to ASJ (Dongguan) for an academic exchange on 27 March. After arriving at the school, the teachers were first introduced to the latest development of ASJ (Dongguan), then went to classes according to different subjects for lesson observation and evaluation, and then had an in-depth academic exchange with our secondary school teachers.

3月27日上午，香港仁济医院王华湘中学六十二名教职工应邀来到本校进行学术交流。王华湘中学的教师团队到校后先是了解了本校的最新发展情况，随后便按照不同科组到各个班级进行观课和评估，观课结束后与本校中学部老师进行了深入的学术交流。

This activity has greatly broadened the educational horizon of our teachers, the teachers not only learned first-hand information about the Hong Kong DSE curriculum, but also found their strengths and areas for improvements in the feedback from the Hong Kong educational peers to improve their future teaching. It's believed that this exchange will have a positive impact on the future of "Learning and Teaching" at ASJ (Dongguan). 

本次学术交流活动大大拓宽了本校教师的教育视野，让老师们不仅了解到香港DSE课程的第一手资讯，还从香港教育同行的反馈中，认识到自身长处以及需要提升的地方，以精进日后的教学，相信本次交流将会对本校未来的“学与教”产生积极影响

Our students had a great badminton competition with badminton players from our sister school in Hong Kong - Holm Glad College last week. On the day of the guests' arrival, the students from both schools had an opportunity to watch many exciting matches of professional players at a famous local badminton club, after which the students took to the court to spar with each other.

3月27日，基督教圣约教会坚乐中学组织近30名羽毛球队员与本校羽毛球能手们来了一次酣畅淋漓的球技交流。两校的羽毛球队员们抵达东莞当天去到东莞市李永波羽毛球学校观看了由该机构的优秀队员带来的男子单打、双打表演赛，随后同学们纷纷上场和机构队员进行切磋。

During the short exchange, ASJ (Dongguan) also arranged activities such as badminton training, friendly Frisbee game, and local sightseeing for the students of Holm Glad College to experience our school's sports facilities and, more importantly, to build a deep friendship with our students.

交流期间，坚乐中学的队员们还在本校进行了羽毛球训练活动以及飞盘友谊赛，实地感受了我校体育设施设备，并在运动中与本校学生结下深厚友谊。

In addition to sister school exchanges within the ASJ campus, ASJ (Dongguan) also actively promotes "Learning Beyond the Walls", and from 27 to 29 March, 29 of our Secondary students had an opportunity to spend an unforgettable time in Hong Kong with students from our sister schools, The Mission Covenant Church Holm Glad College and Holm Glad No. 2 Primary School.

除了在校内开展姐妹学校交流活动，东莞ASJ也积极推动同学们走出教室，学在天涯。3月27日至29日期间，本校29名中学部学生有幸与姊妹学校——基督教圣约教会坚乐中学及坚乐二小的同学们一起在香港度过了难忘的时光。

Through a variety of rich activities, students were able to experience a unique and varied learning life in different aspects such as history, culture, community, sports and food.

学生们透过体验各项丰富的学习活动，从历史/文化、社区/人民、体育活动、美食等多个维度感受到了独特、多元的学习生活。

On the evening of their arrival, the sister schools welcomed the students and teachers from ASJ (Dongguan) with a hearty meal, and the welcoming activities allowed students from all three schools to get to know each other quickly and learn about the programme. Not only that, but the experience of camping and staying on campus that night also gave the students a taste of group life!

抵达当晚，姊妹学校以丰富的一餐向东莞ASJ的师生表达了热烈的欢迎，夜晚的活动也让三校的同学们互相认识并了解了课程的安排。不仅如此，当晚在校园内扎营住宿的体验也让学生感受到了群体生活的魅力！

On the second day, the students participated in the Ma Wan Easter Outdoor Worship and other relevant activities around Ma Wan and Noah's Ark. Walking along the beautiful beaches, some of the students also experienced the fun of "catching the sea". In the evening, students from the sister school introduced our students not only to the sport of cup stacking, but also to the many specialities of Hong Kong.

第二天，学生们参加了马湾复活节户外崇拜活动并在诺亚方舟和马湾周边开展交流活动。在漫步美丽海滩之余，更有同学体验了“赶海”的乐趣。在晚上的交流晚会上，姊妹学校的同学不仅向本校学生介绍了“叠杯”这项运动，还向学生们介绍了很多香港特色美食及与其相关的历史。

On the final day, the students travelled to Tai O to experience its unique community and island culture. They experienced three workshops - salted egg yolk making, tea cake making and fishing net making - and the friendship between the students of the two sister schools was strengthened through these fun-filled activities.

最后一天，学生们前往大澳体验香港特色的社区文化和海岛文化，同学们分组体验了咸蛋黄制作、茶粿制作和渔网编制三个工作坊，在充满趣味的活动中增进了两地姊妹学校同学间的友谊。

On the 28th of March, the teachers and students of Siu Ming Catholic Secondary School visited ASJ (Dongguan) to attend the sister-school partnership signing ceremony between the two schools. 

3月28日，天主教母佑会萧明中学师生一行到访本校，出席两校之间的姊妹学校签约仪式。

During the signing ceremony, student representatives from both schools went on stage to introduce their schools, fully demonstrating the students' understanding of their schools and their confident attitude. Then, in the presence of all the witnesses, Mr. Jonathan LAI, Principal of ASJ (Dongguan), signed the Sister School Agreement with Ms. FONG Pui-fen, Vice Principal of Siu Ming Catholic Secondary School, to establish a long-term partnership.

签约仪式上，双方均由学生代表上台进行学校介绍，充分展现了学生们对各自学校的了解和热爱，以及自身的自信风采。随后，在众人的见证之下，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校总校长赖炳华先生与天主教母佑会萧明中学校长副校长方佩芬女士签订了姊妹学校协议。

After the ceremony, the guests were offered a campus tour by our student representatives and spent a wonderful time with our students in a friendly game of Frisbee, building a friendly relationship through cooperation and fair play. This event also marked a promising step in our student-led inter-school engagement.

仪式结束后，本校学生还为前来参观交流的师生导览了校园并进行了飞盘友谊赛，大家在协作与公平竞争中建立起友好关系。本次活动亦标志着我校以学生为主导的校际交往迈出了充满前景的第一步。

The benefits of last week's exchange went far beyond the immediate gains in knowledge and experience. It laid the foundations for our school to develop long-term partnerships, collaborations and mutual learning opportunities with Hong Kong education community that will help our students thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

上周交流活动的益处远远超出了即时的知识增长和经验收获。它为我们与香港教育界发展长期伙伴关系和相互学习机会奠定了基础，这将有助于我们东莞ASJ的学生在一个相互联系的世界里茁壮成长。
