On 19 April, 2024, it is the Professional Development Day of ASJ (Dongguan). Teachers from Secondary section spent the whole day in Hong Kong, purchasing teachers’ references on HKDSE curriculum of different subjects and paying a school visit to a local secondary school in Kwun Tong. Teachers of various subjects first arrived at a bookstore in Shatin and selected the teachers’ references on HKDSE curriculum, including mock test and practice papers. 

2024 年 4 月 19 日，是东莞暨大港澳子弟学校的员工发展日。中学部的老师们在香港度过了一整天，购买了不同科目的香港DSE课程教师参考资料，并到观塘的一所中学进行了教学访问。各科教师首先到达沙田的一个购书中心，选购香港DSE课程教师参考资料，包括模拟试卷及练习卷。

In the afternoon, with the comprehensive arrangements made by the sister school of ASJ (Dongguan), The Mission Covenant Church Holm Glad College, our secondary section teachers could have a golden opportunity to acquire a better understanding of how lessons are to be conducted in Hong Kong. Arriving at the campus at lunchtime, teachers were cordially invited to join a lunch activity called “Fruits Day” aimed at promoting healthy eating habit among adolescents. 

下午，在我们的姊妹学校——香港圣约教会坚乐中学的安排下，中学部的老师们有机会进一步了解香港学校的上课方式。老师们在午餐时间抵达校园，并被邀请参加一个名为 "水果日 "的午餐活动，该活动旨在向青少年推广健康的饮食习惯。

After the lunch activity, teachers were divided into different groups for the classroom observations followed by post-lesson observation conference, in which teachers had chances to communicate with the teachers being observed. The half-day school visit ended with a sharing session conducted by Principal Philip LEE, the principal of The Mission Covenant Church Holm Glad College. Teachers, indeed, have benefited a lot from the class visit as well as the experiences shared by the principal and teachers. 

午餐活动结束后，老师们被分成不同的小组进行观课，随后进行讨论会议，老师们有机会与被观课的老师进行交流。为期半天的学校探访活动在坚乐中学校长李立中校长的分享会中结束。通过这次观课活动，以及校长和老师们的经验分享，东莞ASJ老师们获益良多。
