The ASJ Primary department held the first-ever touch typing competition for Grades 3 to 6. This competition was designed to promote the development of essential keyboarding skills, which are becoming increasingly important in today's digital age. 

ASJ小学部举办了3至6年级首届打字比赛。此次比赛旨在促进关键的键盘输入技能的发展，这些技能在当今数字时代变得越来越重要。

Touch typing, the ability to type without looking at the keyboard, is a transformative skill that significantly enhances a student's productivity and efficiency. By mastering this skill, students can complete assignments and projects with remarkable speed and accuracy, enabling them to concentrate more on the content of their work and less on the mechanics of typing. 

打字是一项具有革命性意义的技能，极大地提高了学生的工作效率和生产力。通过掌握这项技能，学生可以以非凡的速度和准确性完成作业和项目，使他们更专注于工作内容而不是打字机械操作。

On the day of the competition, the air was filled with anticipation as fingers flew with great speed. Students competed against their respective classmates, engaging in a series of timed typing challenges. 

比赛当天，空气中充满了期待之情，手指飞快地敲击着键盘。学生们与各自班级同学竞争，在一系列限时打字挑战中展开角逐。

The students were judged based on their typing speed, accuracy, and proficiency, and the competition was timed to add an element of excitement and challenge. 

评判标准包括打字速度、准确性和熟练程度，并设置计时规则增加紧张感和挑战性。

This event not only helped students improve their typing skills but also promoted teamwork, perseverance, and good sportsmanship among participants.
