科学展准备

Exploration and learning of science are essential for shaping students’ understanding of the world around them. 

科学探索和学习对于塑造学生对周围世界的理解至关重要。



It equips students with problem-solving skills, critical thinking abilities, and an awareness of technology, preparing them for the future. 

它不仅赋予学生问题解决能力、批判性思维能力和技术意识,还为他们未来的发展做好准备。



     


     



By delving into the systematic study of the physical, social, and natural worlds through observation and experimentation, students not only gain knowledge but also develop their creativity and broaden their perspective. 

通过系统观察和实验研究物理、社会和自然世界,学生不仅可以获取知识,还可以培养创造力并拓宽视野。





Science, as the systematic study of the physical, social, and natural worlds through observation and experimentation, is a catalyst for innovation, global competitiveness, and human progress. 

科学是通过观察和实验系统地研究物理、社会和自然世界的学科,是创新、全球竞争力和人类进步的催化剂。


Its contributions, whether in the form of new technologies or the exploration of distant galaxies, are instrumental in shaping our world and advancing our society. 

无论是以新技术的形式还是对遥远星系的探索,科学的贡献都是塑造我们的世界和推动社会进步的重要因素。



     



The “How The World Works” PYP Unit served as a fantastic foundation for the annual ASJ Early Years & Primary Science Fair. 

“世界是如何运作的”PYP单元为每年的ASJ幼儿和小学科学展奠定了坚实的基础。


The fair provided parents with the opportunity to engage in scientific discovery first-hand and celebrate the wonderful scientific explorations that took place throughout the unit. 

科学展为家长提供了亲自参与科学探索的机会,并庆祝整个单元中所进行的精彩的科学探索。


Students eagerly prepared for this day where they could showcase all that they had discovered.

学生们热切地准备着这一天,展示自己所发现的一切。





Throughout this unit, our students embarked on an exciting journey of scientific discovery, immersing themselves in the Scientific Method cycle. 

在这个单元中,我们的学生踏上了一次激动人心的科学发现之旅,沉浸在科学方法的循环中。


With curiosity as their compass, they learned to question, researched extensively, formulated hypotheses, conducted experiments, analysed data, drew meaningful conclusions, and effectively communicated their findings. 

以好奇心为指南针,他们学会了提问、广泛研究、提出假设、进行实验、分析数据、得出有意义的结论,并有效地传达他们的发现。



        



From our youngest learners in Foundation to our eldest in Grade 6, every student honed their ability to inquire, collect information, organise and test ideas, solve problems, and generate answers to their endless stream of questions by applying what they learnt.

从Foundation最小的学生到六年级最大的学生,每个学生都通过运用所学知识磨练了自己询问、收集信息、组织和测试想法、解决问题和产生无尽问题答案的能力。


The classrooms were abuzz with excitement as students eagerly delved into the wonders of scientific inquiry. 

教室里充满了兴奋的气氛,学生们兴致勃勃地投入到科学探究的奇妙世界中。



Through hands-on experiments, engaging discussions, and collaborative projects, they discovered the joy of exploring the natural world and uncovering its mysteries. 

通过动手实验、引人入胜的讨论和合作项目,他们发现了探索自然世界和揭开其奥秘的乐趣。


Whether they were testing the effects of variables on a simple experiment or designing complex investigations, the students were fully immersed in the process of scientific learning.

无论是在测试一个简单实验中变量的影响还是设计复杂的调查,学生们都完全沉浸在科学学习的过程中。





By encouraging a balance of fun and academic rigour, teachers supported students in creating an environment where students felt empowered to ask bold questions, seek out knowledge, and make meaningful connections. 

通过鼓励学习的乐趣与学术严谨的平衡,教师们支持学生创造一个环境,让学生感到有权提出大胆的问题、寻求知识并建立有意义的联系。


As they embraced the spirit of inquiry, they not only deepened their understanding of scientific concepts but also developed critical thinking skills that will serve them well in their academic journey and beyond.

当他们拥抱探究精神时,他们不仅加深了对科学概念的理解,还培养了批判性思维技能,这些技能将在他们的学术旅程及其以后的生活中大有裨益。
