Pinktober to  Movember: Teaching Awareness and Empathy 

粉红十月到十一胡子月：培养意识与同理心

Pinktober, celebrated in October, shines a spotlight on female health awareness. Pinktober reminds us about the importance of looking after our health and ways we can support others going through difficult times, for example, mums, aunts or teachers.

粉红十月活动在十月举行，旨在提高女性健康意识。粉红十月提醒我们关注自己的健康，并思考如何支持那些正在经历困难的人，比如妈妈、阿姨或老师。

Movember in November focuses on men’s physical health including mental health. Movember, helps us focus on the well-being of our dads, uncles and teachers. 

十一胡子月关注男性身体及精神健康。胡子月让我们关注我们父亲、叔伯及老师的身心健康。

These months offer an opportunity to educate young minds on the importance of health, awareness, and compassion, fostering a sense of empathy and social responsibility in our students. We approach Pinktober and Movember by focusing on the values behind these campaigns: empathy, kindness, and the importance of supporting one another. 

这些月份让我们籍此机会教育小孩子健康、关注和怜悯的重要性，培养学生的同理心和社会责任感。我们通过关注这些运动背后的价值观：同理心、善良和帮助他人的重要性，来对待粉红革命月和胡子月。

Creating a Compassionate School Community 

创建有同情心的校园

By observing Pinktober and Movember, we aim to build a compassionate school environment where students learn the value of empathy and social responsibility. Through these activities, they begin to see that awareness is about fostering an attitude of kindness and support throughout the year.

通过纪念粉红十月和十一胡子月，我们旨在创建一个有同情心的校园环境，让学生明白共情的价值观和社会责任感。通过这些活动，他们开始理解关注是要一整年培养善良和助人的态度。

Awareness months like Pinktober and Movember allow us to teach children not only about health but about community and empathy. As our students grow, we hope these experiences will inspire them to carry forward these values, creating a more supportive and understanding world.

像“粉红十月”和“十一胡子月”这样的意识月活动可以让我们向孩子们不仅传授健康知识，还传授社区意识和同理心。随着我们的学生成长，我们希望这些经历能够激励他们传承这些价值观，创造一个更加支持和理解的世界。
