To enhance the fire safety awareness of the entire school staff and students and strengthen the emergency response capabilities for incidents such as fires, our school recently carried out a series of fire safety education activities focusing on fire evacuation drills and fire safety knowledge lectures. These activities have comprehensively improved the fire safety literacy of teachers and students, achieving significant results.

为了提高全校师生的消防安全意识，增强应对火灾等突发事件的应急处理能力，我校于近期开展了以消防疏散演练和消防安全知识讲座为主要内容的消防安全教育系列活动，全方位提升了师生消防安全素养，取得了显著成效。

The  Orderly Fire Evacuation Drill: Practical Training to Enhance Skills

紧张有序的消防疏散演练：实战演练，提升技能

On November 13th, the school meticulously organised and planned a campus-wide fire evacuation drill. This drill was set during the lunch break, focusing on the evacuation from the dormitory area. At 13:40, as the alarm sounded, teachers and students quickly responded, followed the predetermined evacuation routes and rapidly and orderly evacuated to the open area of the football field. Upon reaching the assembly area, homeroom teachers immediately counted the number of students and reported to the responsible teacher, confirming everyone's safety. The entire process was orderly, reflecting our school's teachers’ and students' good safety awareness and emergency response abilities.

11月13日，学校精心组织策划，开展了全校范围的消防疏散演练。此次演练的时间设定在中午午休时间，重点演练学生从宿舍区的疏散撤离。下午13:40，随着警报声响起，师生们迅速响应，按照预定的疏散路线，迅速、有序地从各个宿舍房间、教室、办公室撤离至足球场空旷区域。到达集合区后，各班主任立即清点人数并向负责老师汇报，确认全员安全。整个过程秩序井然，体现了我校师生良好的安全意识和应急反应能力。

After the drill, our Executive Principal, Mr. Samuel Kam, carefully summarised the process, analysed the existing problems, and proposed improvement measures to ensure that future drills can be closer to reality and yield better results.

演练结束后，总指挥金礼贤执行校长对演练过程进行了认真总结，对存在的问题进行了分析，并提出了改进措施，确保今后的演练能够更加贴近实际，取得更好的效果。

Through this drill, the school's emergency plan was effectively validated, and teachers' and students' fire safety awareness and practical skills were significantly enhanced. And their ability to escape in case of a sudden fire is constantly improved.

通过此次演练，学校的安全预案得到了有效的验证，广大师生的消防安全意识和实操水平得到了大幅提升，应对突发火灾的应急逃生能力不断提高。

The Fire Safety Knowledge Lecture: Learning Knowledge to Master Skills

内容丰富的消防安全知识讲座：学习知识，掌握技能

On November 21st, our school invited Director Liang Runqiu from Gaobu Fire Rescue Brigade to give the teachers and students a rich and engaging fire safety knowledge lecture.

11月21日，学校邀请了高埗消防救援大队的梁润球主任为师生们进行了一场内容丰富、生动有趣的消防安全知识讲座。  

During the lecture, Director Liang explained the causes of fires, preventive measures, escape methods, and the use of firefighting equipment in a simple yet profound manner, combining videos and a large number of cases and pictures. He particularly emphasised the fire safety hazards that are often overlooked in daily life, such as randomly pulling wires, using poor quality electrical appliances, and electric vehicle charging, and warned everyone to be vigilant all the time and prevent fires before they happen.

讲座中，梁主任结合视频以及大量的案例和图片，深入浅出地讲解了火灾的发生原因、预防措施、逃生方法以及消防器材的使用方法等方面知识。梁主任特别强调了日常生活中容易忽视的消防安全隐患，例如乱拉电线、使用劣质电器、电动车充电等，并告诫大家要时刻保持警惕，做到防患于未“燃”。  

During the lecture, Director Liang also provided detailed instructions on the use of smoke masks and fire extinguishers, and students performed a live demonstration, giving students a deeper understanding of the use of firefighting equipment.

讲座中，梁主任还对防烟面罩和灭火器的使用方法进行了详细讲解，并请同学做了现场演示，使学生们对消防器材的使用有了更深入的了解。

Interactive questions and answer sessions and prize-winning competitions were interspersed throughout the lecture, greatly enhancing the students' interest in learning and participation, which resulted in good outcomes. After the lecture, teachers and students expressed that they had learned a lot and intended to apply the knowledge to their daily lives and improve their safety awareness.

讲座中穿插着互动问答和有奖竞答的环节，极大地提高了学生们学习兴趣和参与度，取得了很好的效果。讲座结束后，师生们纷纷表示受益匪浅，表示要将所学知识应用到日常生活中，提高自身的安全防范意识。

Through a series of fire safety education activities, the fire safety awareness of our school's teachers and students has been significantly improved, and their emergency response capabilities have been effectively enhanced. Our school will continue to adhere to the principle of "safety first, prevention-oriented" and will continue to carry out various fire safety education activities to continuously improve the fire safety awareness of teachers and students, contributing to the building of a safe campus.

通过此次系列消防安全教育活动，我校师生的消防安全意识得到了显著提高，应急处置能力得到了有效提升。学校将继续秉承“安全第一，预防为主”的理念，持续开展形式多样的消防安全教育活动，不断提升师生的消防安全意识，为构建平安校园贡献力量。
