School Visit by EduHK

On 23 November, 43 undergraduates coming from the Department of Humanities of The Education University of Hong Kong, together with two professors, paid a school visit to ASJ (Dongguan). The event commenced with an introduction of ASJ (Dongguan) by our Executive Principal, Mr. Samuel Kam, who informed the visitors about the school’s vision and mission and the curriculum adopted. Dr. Benjamin Li and Dr. Paul Choi guided the university students to ask questions. 

11月23日，来自香港教育大学人文学院的43名本科生以及两位教授来到东莞暨大港澳子弟学校进行学术访问。活动伊始，本校执行校长金礼贤先生向各位来访嘉宾介绍了学校的愿景、使命以及所采用的课程体系。李博士（Dr. Benjamin Li）和蔡博士（Dr. Paul Choi）指导大学生提出问题。

After the introductory session, the whole team was divided into two groups to visit the campus. Students were all greatly amazed by the beautiful campus and the comprehensive facilities and hardware, including the beautifully designed library, the football pitch, the swimming pool, and the gym. Observing the decorations and the outline of the curriculum in the classrooms, students had a much clearer understanding of the curriculum's features. 

介绍会后，整个团队分成两组参观了校园。学生们对美丽的校园环境和完善的设施设备，包括设计精美的图书馆、足球场、游泳池和体育馆，都感到非常惊讶。通过观察教室的装饰和课程大纲，学生们对本校课程特色有了更清晰的认识。

After the school visit, the university students made good use of the chance to experience the culture of Dongguan by visiting the Dongguan Dragonboat Museum. They had known that there is a long history of dragonboat racing and practices in Dongguan. During the chit-chat time at lunch, students from The Education University of Hong Kong had shown their passion and enthusiasm in teaching and would like to have an opportunity to conduct their teaching practice at ASJ(Dongguan) in the near future.

访问结束后，教大学生们充分利用机会，通过参观东莞龙舟博物馆体验了东莞的文化。他们了解到东莞有着悠久的龙舟竞渡历史。在午餐的闲聊时间，来自香港教育大学的学生们展示了他们对教学的热情和热忱，并希望不久的将来有机会在东莞暨大港澳子弟学校进行教学实践。
