On 21 January 2025, the Basic Education Office of Jinan University hosted a special admissions and career talk at ASJ (Dongguan). Themed "Building Dreams and Setting Sail," the event was co-organised by several university departments and aimed to guide students on their academic and career paths.

2025年1月21日，暨南大学基础教育办公室在东莞暨大港澳子弟学校举办了招生就业专场宣讲会。此次活动不仅体现了暨南大学对本校教育服务的支持，更为学生们在学术道路上指明了方向。本次宣讲会以“筑梦·启航”为主题，由暨南大学基础教育办公室主办，暨大珠海校区、本科生招生办公室、学生就业指导中心、学生处港澳台侨学生管理办公室协办，并由东莞暨大港澳子弟学校承办。

Admissions officers outlined three pathways for Hong Kong and Macao students to enter Jinan University: recommendation (requiring endorsement from a local Hong Kong secondary school principal), examination (including Joint Examinations), and application via HKDSE results. The session also covered talent cultivation and employment policies, with a focus on the university's commitment to developing patriotic and culturally aware students.

在招生、培养和就业政策宣讲环节，招生办公室费正彬老师详细介绍了港澳籍学生入读暨南大学的三种途径：保送入学（需香港本地中学校长推荐）、考试入学（包括全国联考或两校联招考试）以及申请审核入学（凭借HKDSE成绩申请）。

学生处港澳台侨学生管理办公室宋多主任分享了以“学生发展十大规划”为纲要的培养方案，阐述了暨南大学如何培养坚定的爱国者、文化传播使者以及勇担民族复兴大任的时代新人。

就业指导中心曹玲莎部长则介绍了港澳青年就业政策及暨南大学创业服务，包括大湾区青年就业计划和人才优惠政策等。这一环节清晰地勾勒了从入学申请、在校培养到毕业就业的全过程，帮助学生更好地了解暨南大学，并判断其是否适合自己。

Students attended presentations on various faculties and majors. The arts session included introductions to the International Business School, School of Translation, and School of Humanities.

宣讲会结束后，学生们根据自己的兴趣和选择，分别参加了文科和理科相关学院的介绍宣讲。文科会场的专业讲座包含国际商学院、翻译学院和人文学院的宣讲。

Ms. Jiang Liqun, Deputy Dean, outlined the key features of three majors: Financial Engineering, International Business, and Business Administration. She helped students identify suitable career paths in business.

国际商学院副院长姜丽群重点介绍了金融工程、国际商务和工商管理三个专业的特色、课程体系和培养目标，帮助对商业领域感兴趣的学生更好地筛选符合自身发展需求的方向。

Mr. Chen Yiping, Deputy Dean, introduced the school's history, academic achievements, and international focus. Students have received many prestigious awards and secured diverse employment opportunities, with many pursuing further studies globally.

翻译学院副院长陈毅平详细介绍了学院的发展历程、学科建设、教学成果以及国际化发展情况。学院学生在各类翻译大赛中屡获佳绩，毕业生就业去向广泛，且相当一部分学生会进入到国内外知名学府深造。

Mr. Jiao Peng, Deputy Dean, presented the four majors: Law, Public Administration, Cultural Industry Management, and Chinese Language and Literature. The school hosts a key research base in Zhuhai, with Law being a strong subject.
