Foundation & K1

This week in Foundation and Kindergarten One, students learnt to interact safely and gently with animals. They recognised that a wagging tail often indicates a happy dog. To deepen their understanding, they engaged in role-playing activities, acting out scenarios of interacting with animals. They also played a “Yes” or “No” game, evaluating scenarios like pulling a cat’s tail versus petting gently, and discussed with their teacher whether each interaction was safe.

K2

This week, the Kindergarten dedicated their time to learning about the transformations of animals and their roles in nature. The children participated in engaging activities that taught them the importance of connection and harmony in their lives and the world around them.

本周，K2将时间用于学习动物的转变及其在自然界中的作用。孩子们参与了有趣的活动，这些活动教会了他们在生活和周围世界中建立联系与和谐的重要性。

K3

This week our Kindergarten 3 students have been balancing being plant parents, looking after their plants, ensuring they are well watered and watching them grow as well as attending to their usual studies. 

这周K3的学生们充当植物父母的角色，照顾他们的植物，确保它们得到充分浇水并观察它们生长，同时还要完成日常的学习。

Music

This week in Early Years Music Time, the Foundation and Kindergarten 1 classes learned about high and low sounds. During this session, they focused on recognising different sounds. Using the xylophone, the children played the notes do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do. They recognised both high-pitched and low-pitched sounds. 

During Kindergarten 2 Music Time, students concentrated on musical instruments; this time, it was the castanet accompanied by a dance movement. The children were excited to play and dance.
