“共享地球”行动!

What an extraordinary day we had at our PYPx! Our students showcased their deep understanding of global issues with passion, creativity, and a commitment to action under the theme Sharing the Planet’. 

在本次 PYPx 活动中,我们共同度过了意义非凡的一天。学生们以饱满的热情、创新的思维和积极的行动力,在“共享地球”这一主题下展示了他们对全球性问题的深刻理解。

Each group’s work reflected the IB learner profile, linking their inquiries to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and demonstrating how even young minds can drive meaningful change.  

每个小组的作品都充分体现了国际文凭组织(IB)所倡导的学习者特质,并将探究过程与联合国可持续发展目标(SDGs)紧密联系起来,证明了即使是年轻一代也能推动有意义的社会变革。

Chemical Waste

Students investigated how industrial waste harms ecosystems and public health, creating a 3D model of hazardous chemicals and proposing safer disposal methods.  

学生通过研究工业废弃物对生态系统和公众健康的危害,制作了一个3D危险化学品模型,并提出了更为安全的处理方法。





Ocean Conservation

Through a Merge Cube AR display, Alex and Amber illustrated sustainable fishing practices, contrasting thriving marine ecosystems with areas devastated by overfishing.  

Alex和Amber利用Merge Cube增强现实技术展示了可持续捕鱼方法,直观地对比了生机勃勃的海洋生态系统与过度捕捞造成的破坏区域。

Global Warming

Angelique and Chloe built a climate change timeline and role-played green careers, urging visitors to reduce carbon footprints.  

Angelique和Chloe则制作了一条气候变化的时间线,并通过扮演环保职业角色,呼吁参观者减少碳足迹。

Victor and Vincent crafted a TikTok campaign and 3D forest model to highlight habitat loss, while Sharon wrote an article on ocean pollution for the school website.  

Victor和Vincent精心策划了一场抖音宣传活动,并制作了一个3D森林模型以强调栖息地丧失的问题;莎伦为学校网站撰写了一篇关于海洋污染的文章。




Renewable Energy

Aman designed a solar-powered boat in Tinkercad, explaining how clean energy can replace fossil fuels.

Ryan Wang’s 3D factory model demonstrated how industries can reduce chemical waste, paired with a Mandarin infographic on trade tariffs’ environmental impact.  

Ryan Wang的3D工厂模型展示了工业如何减少化学废料,并配有一张中文信息图表,分析贸易关税对环境的影响。

Building a Sustainable Tomorrow


Sustainable Agriculture

Lika and Aruna taught Grade 2 students to plant seeds, linking food security to biodiversity. Their Microbit soil detector showcased tech’s role in farming.  

Lika和Aruna通过教授二年级学生播种技能,将粮食安全与生物多样性联系起来,并展示了微比特土壤探测器在现代农业中的应用。


Fast Fashion

Yulin led an upcycling workshop with donated clothes, revealing the environmental cost of consumer habits.  

Yulin举办了一场衣物升级改造工作坊,揭示了消费习惯对环境的深远影响。


Pollinator Protection

Daniel and Chloe created a pollination game for younger students, emphasising bees’ role in food systems.  

Daniel和Chloe为低年级学生设计了一款授粉游戏,旨在强调蜜蜂在食物系统中的关键作用。

From Ivan’s "Wordwall" game on food waste to Jasper’s AR endangered species tour, students blended creativity with critical thinking.  

从Ivan有关食物浪费的“单词墙”互动游戏到Jasper的增强现实濒危物种之旅,学生们将创造力与批判性思维完美融合。

Many groups partnered with younger grades - Grade 1 pollinator lesson, or launched campaigns like Caitlin’s posts on marine life. 

许多小组与低年级学生合作开展项目,例如一年级的传粉者课程以及Caitlin关于海洋生物保护的社交媒体活动。



As Katy’s poignant poem reminded us: "Our choices today write tomorrow’s story." The PYPx was a great showcase of learning but it was also a call to action. Students proved that curiosity, collaboration, and courage can turn ideas into solutions.  

正如凯蒂那首感人至深的诗所言:“今日之选,书写明日之篇。” PYPX 不仅是一场学习成果的集中展示,更是一次行动的召唤。学生们通过好奇心、协作精神和勇气,成功地将想法转化为实际解决方案。  


Our children’s work inspires hope for a greener, fairer future!  

我们相信,孩子们的努力将为实现更加绿色、更加公平的未来奠定坚实基础。
