A huge thank you to all of our students who participated in our exciting Horse Naming Competition! The creativity and thought of all of our showed were incredible. Our panel of judges had a very difficult task, but we finalised the top 10 names from the many fantastic submissions. The finalists were:

衷心感谢所有参与本次激动人心的马匹命名比赛的学生们！同学们展现的创意与思考令人赞叹不已。评审团面临了十分艰难的选择，但最终我们从众多精彩投稿中确定了前十名入围名单。

But the final choice was not up to the judges! In a wonderful display of student voice and agency - a core value of our IB philosophy, we handed the decision over to its true owners - our students.

但最终决定权并未掌握在评委手中！为了充分体现学生话语权与主观能动性——这是我们IB理念的核心价值，我们将决定权交给了它真正的主人——全体学生。

During our assembly, each finalist name was announced. The volume of the applause and cheers from the student body determined the winner. The theatre erupted with incredible energy, but one name clearly inspired the loudest and most joyful applause...

在全校集会上，每个入围名字被逐一宣读，而学生们的掌声与欢呼声量决定了胜出者。剧场内爆发出惊人的能量，其中有一个名字显然赢得了最响亮、最欢腾的掌声……

A massive congratulations to Aditi (Grade 3) who submitted the winning name! We are thrilled to announce that our horse will be named... SKY!

热烈祝贺三年级学生Aditi提交的获胜名字！我们激动地宣布，我们的马匹将被命名为——天空（SKY）！

It was incredible to see our students so passionately exercise their choice and collectively decide on a name that clearly resonates with them. It was a perfect demonstration of how we value student voice and empower them to take an active role in our school community.

见证学生们如此激情洋溢地行使选择权，并集体决定这个引发强烈共鸣的名字，实在令人振奋。这完美诠释了我们如何重视学生话语权，并赋能他们在校园社群中扮演积极角色。

We warmly welcome “Sky”, who joins “Lucky” in the Equestrian Centre! We can’t wait to see you galloping under your namesake.
