Through hands-on exploration, K1 students investigated the properties of magnetic sands using magnets. The students then experimented by adding the sand to the mooncake dough to feel the texture and consistency. This activity fostered curiosity about magnetism and connected science with creative cooking.

通过亲自动手探索,K1 年级的学生研究了磁性沙子的特性。随后,学生们将沙子加入月饼面团中进行实验,并假装烘焙,观察其对质地和稠度的影响。这项活动激发了学生对磁性的兴趣,并将科学与创意烹饪联系起来。

The students took turns giving and following instructions in pairs to investigate communication; they discussed their observations and recognised that listening closely improved their relationships. 

学生们以配对的形式轮流给出指令并遵循指示,以探究沟通的方式;他们讨论了各自的观察结果,认识到仔细倾听能够改善彼此之间的关系。

As the children delved into their Unit of Inquiry, they eagerly explored the members of their families and thought about the unique roles each person plays. Their enthusiasm was contagious as they shared stories about their families, proudly highlighting the special contributions of each member. This inquiry ignited a vibrant discussion, allowing the students to connect and reflect on the importance of family in their lives!

随着孩子们深入探究他们的探究单元,他们饶有兴致地了解家庭成员,并思考每个人所扮演的独特角色。他们的热情极具感染力,纷纷分享有关家庭的故事,自豪地强调每个成员的特殊贡献。

Music time in the Early Years is full of joy and happiness. This week, the Kindergarten 1 Music Class is focused on different feelings to encourage the children to express their emotions. In contrast, the Kindergarten 2 Music Class is centred on the five senses, aiming to demonstrate the importance of the five senses in the world.

幼儿音乐课充满了欢乐与幸福。本周,幼儿园小班的音乐课以不同的情感为主题,鼓励孩子们表达自己的情绪。
