一堂跨越时空的爱国主义课

In celebration of the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, our school was honoured to welcome the Opium War Museum for a special talk designed to deepen students' understanding of patriotism. Museum presenter Ms. WANG Minqi shared inspiring stories from the life of LIN Zexu, captivating our students with historical accounts of this national hero.

在中华人民共和国成立76周年之际，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校特邀鸦片战争博物馆走进校园，举办爱国主义主题讲座，为同学们带来《林则徐生平史绩故事会》。博物馆讲解员王敏琪老师的精彩讲述，将同学们带入了那段波澜壮阔的历史岁月。

Throughout the session, students listened intently, clearly moved by LIN Zexu's journey. They learned about his humble beginnings studying by an oil lamp, his determination to "reach the summit and become the peak," and his persistence through repeated exam failures. His famous commitment – "I will serve my country with my life, whatever the cost" – left a deep impression on everyone present.

讲座现场，同学们凝神聆听，随着故事的推进不时流露出敬佩的神情。从“一盏油灯”下苦读的少年，到“山登绝顶我为峰”的壮志凌云；从三次会试屡败屡战的坚韧不拔，到“苟利国家生死以，岂因祸福避趋之”的赤诚报国——林则徐的故事，不仅是一段历史，更是一种精神的传承。

Following the talk, students explored a special exhibition of historical materials. Guided by the museum staff, they observed artefacts that brought textbook lessons to life. The display sparked meaningful conversations about LIN Zexu's legacy and his understanding of patriotism.

在现场展览区域，同学们认真观看每一件展品，在讲解员的介绍下深入阅读史料。这些珍贵的历史材料，让书本上的知识变得鲜活而真切。大家相互交流观展心得，分享对林则徐爱国精神的理解。

This immersive experience provided our students with valuable insights into Chinese history and national spirit. Through learning about LIN Zexu's exemplary life, our students gained a stronger sense of cultural identity and historical responsibility.

这场别开生面的故事会和专题展览，让港澳子弟学校的学子们接受了一次深刻的爱国主义教育。大家在历史的回望中汲取精神力量，在先辈的故事中感悟家国情怀，进一步增强了民族认同感和历史使命感。
