The Third Student Council  Inauguration Ceremony

第三届中学部学生会就职典礼

Last Friday, ASJ (Dongguan) held the inauguration ceremony for its 3rd Student Council of the 2025-2026 academic year with great pride. Centred around the theme “The Torch of Youth, The Weight of Responsibility,” the event marked the formal transition of roles to a new cohort of student leaders, who are committed to uniting the student community and fostering a more vibrant campus environment.  

上周五，东莞暨大港澳子弟学校隆重举行了2025-2026学年第三届学生会就职典礼。典礼以“青春接力·使命在肩”为主题，在庄严而热烈的氛围中，新一届学生会成员正式接过了服务同学、建设校园的接力棒。

The ceremony opened with encouraging words from former Student Council members, whose sincere advice and support motivated the incoming team. The new Student Council and student club leaders were then officially announced, with appointment letters presented by club instructors and teacher advisors. This year’s Student Council consists of a dedicated team spanning four core departments—the Presidential Unit, Discipline, Literature, Publicity, and Arts & Sports—as well as four house teams (Pegasus, Centaurs, Dragon, and Phoenix), multiple CCA clubs, and sports teams.  

典礼在往届学长学姐的殷切寄语中拉开帷幕，他们的祝福与鼓励为新成员们注入了前行的力量。随后，大会正式公布了新一届学生会及社团干部名单，并由指导老师为他们颁发了聘书。本届学生会阵容强大，涵盖了主席团、纪律部、文学部、宣传部、艺体部四大部门，以及飞马、人马、青龙、凤凰四大社和众多CCA社团及校队。

In front of the entire school community, the newly appointed Chairperson, Paco LAI of Grade 11D, led all members in taking a solemn oath: “I voluntarily join the Student Council, pledging to serve my fellow students and dedicate myself to the growth of our school…” Their firm and clear vows reflected a shared sense of responsibility and a commitment to honour the trust placed in them.  

在全体师生的见证下，新任主席G11D班赖麟柏带领全体成员庄严宣誓：“我自愿加入学生会，以服务同学为己任，以建设校园为使命……”铿锵的誓言，展现了新一届学生会恪守职责、不负信任的决心。

The ceremony was further enhanced by wonderful student performances, and awards were given to classes and teachers who excelled in the 2nd School Drama Competition. This segment highlighted the diverse talents and lively spirit of ASJ students.  

典礼还穿插了精彩的学生表演，并对在第二届舞台剧大赛中获奖的班级与指导老师进行了颁奖，充分展现了我校学子的多才多艺与蓬勃朝气。

As a new journey begins, we firmly believe that under the guidance of the newly inaugurated Student Council, campus life at our school will become even more colourful and dynamic—paving the way towards collective achievement and a brilliant future!  

新征程的号角已经吹响，我们坚信，在新一届学生会的带领下，我校校园生活必将更加丰富多彩，共创辉煌！
