To reinforce students’ knowledge of fire safety, each class held thematic class meetings centered on the theme “Remembering Fire Safety Knowledge, Building Campus Security.” Homeroom teachers gave vivid presentations explaining how to prevent campus fires and how to respond effectively if a fire occurs. The thematic meeting not only strengthened the students’ safety awareness but also improved their emergency response capabilities.

为强化学生的消防安全知识，各班级以“牢记消防知识，筑牢校园安全”为主题，开展了消防安全教育主题班会。班主任通过主题宣讲的形式，生动讲解了如何防范校园火灾、发生火灾时如何应对等内容。本次主题班会不仅增强了学生的安全意识，还提升了他们的应急处置能力。

实战模拟，提升技能

On the afternoon of November 5th, as urgent alarms sounded, the school’s faculty and students quickly entered emergency mode, kicking off a realistic fire evacuation drill. 

11月5日下午，随着急促的警报声响起，我校师生迅速进入应急状态，一场贴近实战的消防逃生演练正式拉开帷幕。

Under the orderly guidance of homeroom and subject teachers, everyone covered their mouths and noses, bent low, and evacuated quickly, quietly, and methodically along the designated escape routes to the safety of the playground. The entire process was tense, efficient, and well-organized, effectively improving the ability of teachers and students to react to sudden fires and work together. Finally, Principal Samuel KAM, the commander-in-chief of the drill, summarized the event, noting that both the order and speed of the evacuation showed significant improvement compared to the previous drills.

全体学生在班主任和任课教师的有序引导下，捂住口鼻，弯腰低姿，沿预定疏散路线快速、安静、有序地撤离至操场安全区域。整个过程紧张高效、秩序井然，切实提升了师生应对突发火灾的应急反应能力和协同配合能力。最后，总指挥金礼贤校长对此次演练过程作了总结。此次演练无论是疏散秩序还是速度，较之前都有较大的进步。

A Tribute to the "Flame Blue"

走进消防队，致敬“火焰蓝”

On November 14th, our school organized student representatives to visit the Gaobu Fire Rescue Brigade. Students had “zero-distance” contact with firefighters, toured the equipment and gear, and participated in experiences involving escape simulation, fire extinguishing, and the ladder truck. Through this immersive experience, students not only observed the firefighters’ work up close and learned practical safety skills but also deeply felt the noble character, selflessness, and sense of responsibility of the firefighters.

11月14日，我校组织学生代表前往高埗镇消防救援大队，与消防员“零距离”接触，参观器材装备，进行逃生体验、灭火体验和云梯车体验。通过此次沉浸式的体验，同学们不仅近距离感受了消防员的工作、学习了实用的消防知识和技能，更深刻感受到了消防员恪尽职守、舍己为人的高尚品格和担当精神。

The “Fire Safety Month” series of activities systematically enhanced the fire safety awareness and emergency evasion capabilities of all faculty and students. Moving forward, our school will continue to integrate fire safety education into daily routines, ensuring that fire safety work becomes a normalized and institutionalized practice. We aim to continuously consolidate and deepen a campus safety culture where “everyone speaks of safety, everything is for safety, everyone thinks of safety at all times, and safety is required everywhere.” By building a more solid and long-lasting safety protection system, we will effectively safeguard the high-quality development of the school’s various undertakings.

此次“消防宣传月”系列活动，系统性地提升了全体师生的消防安全意识和应急避险能力。下一阶段，学校将坚持把消防安全教育融入日常、抓在经常，持续推进消防安全工作常态化、机制化，不断巩固和深化“人人讲安全、事事为安全、时时想安全、处处要安全”的校园安全文化氛围，努力构建更加坚实、长效的安全防护体系，切实保障学校各项事业高质量发展。
