This term, our school community embarked on a heartfelt mission - to transform pre-loved toys and books into powerful tools of learning and connection for students. What unfolded was a beautiful story of generosity, empathy, and community spirit that touched everyone involved.

本学期，我们学校社区开启了一项温暖的行动——将二手玩具和书籍转化为学生有力的学习与情感连接工具。整个过程中展现出的慷慨、同理心和社区精神，深深触动了每一位参与者。

For a few weeks, our foyer steadily filled with bags and boxes, donated by our wonderful students and their families with a conscious act of sharing. Each item came with a story—a favourite bedtime story, a puzzle that taught perseverance, a toy that sparked countless adventures.

几周时间里，学校大厅逐渐堆满了由学生和家庭自愿捐赠的大包小箱。每件物品都承载着一段故事：也许是伴人入睡的枕边书、教会坚持的拼图，或是激发无数次冒险想象的玩具。

The real magic happened after school, where a dedicated team of students rolled up their sleeves. They sorted and carefully packed every single donation. This crucial step ensured that each book and toy was ready for its important new role - resources for learning, comfort and play.

真正的魔力发生在放学后：一支由学生组成的志愿小队挽起袖子，认真分类、仔细打包每一份捐赠。这一关键步骤确保了每本书、每个玩具都能以最佳状态履行新的使命——成为学习、慰藉与游戏的资源。

The culmination of our efforts was delivery day. Laden with carefully packed boxes, a convoy from our school arrived. Staff and students from both schools worked side-by-side to unload the donations. This simple act of carrying boxes together transformed the moment from a simple drop-off into a genuine connection between our two communities of learners.

我们所有努力的结晶体现在运送日。学校的车队载着精心打包的箱子抵达目的地。两所学校的师生并肩协作，一同卸下捐赠物资。这个共同搬运的过程，让一次简单的物资交接升华为两校学习社区之间真挚的情感连接。

While our part of the journey concluded with the delivery, the impact of our donations is just beginning. These items are now hard at work - books are opening new worlds and supporting language development, puzzles and building toys are helping to develop fine motor skills and cognitive focus, sensory toys and soft toys are providing comfort and encouraging exploration.

虽然我们的任务随着物资送达暂告一段落，但这些捐赠所产生的影响才刚刚开始。这些物品正在新的岗位上发挥作用：书本正打开新世界、助力语言发展；拼图和积木帮助锻炼精细动作和认知专注力；感统玩具和毛绒玩偶则带来慰藉、鼓励探索。

This project provided a tangible lesson for our students in empathy, social responsibility, and the power of collaborative action. They learned that their efforts, no matter how small they seem, can create meaningful change and build bridges to a wider community.

这个项目为我们的学生上了一堂生动的课，让他们亲身体会到同理心、社会责任以及协作行动的力量。他们明白，自己的努力无论看似多么微小，都能创造有意义的变化，并搭建起通往更广阔社区的桥梁。

At ASJ, we believe education extends beyond our classrooms. By fostering a spirit of generosity, we are helping to build not only brighter futures for all children but also a stronger, more connected community for everyone.
