Spring is in full bloom, and all living things are thriving. On March 21, the 2026 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Public Welfare Initiative was grandly launched. This major event, hosted by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and bringing together the public welfare forces of the Greater Bay Area, attracted over 3.2 million views both online and offline.

春意盎然，万物竞发。3月21日，2026年粤港澳大湾区青少年公益行动隆重启动。这场由中国宋庆龄基金会主办，汇聚湾区公益力量的盛会，吸引了线上线下超过320万人次关注。

On this high-profile stage, a group of young students from AFYSHK Dongguan stood out. Through their youthful presence, they gave voice to the spirit of the times — they are the students from our school who performed in the public welfare short drama "As Desired — A Tribute to Dr. Sun Yat-sen and Soong Ching Ling."

在这场高规格的舞台上，有这样一群来自东莞暨大港澳子弟学校的少年，他们以青春之姿，演绎时代之声——他们，就是我校参演公益短剧《如愿——致敬孙中山宋庆龄先生》的同学们。

During the representative public welfare project showcase of the event, 11 students from our school, ranging from Grade 8 to Grade 11, worked closely with the directing team to create and rehearse the deeply moving short drama "As Desired" in just six days.

在此次活动的代表性公益项目展示环节，我校初二至高二年级的11名学生，与导演团队紧密合作，用短短六天时间创排出感人至深的短剧《如愿》。

From the sweat in the rehearsal room to the spotlight on stage, this "extraordinary" journey would not have been possible without the director's careful guidance and the students' full dedication. As Director Wang remarked after the successful performance: "After five days of rehearsals, everyone was 'put through the wringer,' but each person withstood the pressure and blossomed. This is exactly the meaning of drama education — I hope everyone can carry this focus and perseverance into their daily lives and academic pursuits."

从排练厅的汗水到聚光灯下的绽放，这段“不简单”的旅程，离不开导演的悉心打磨与同学们的全力以赴。正如导演王老师在演出成功后所感叹：“五天排练，被‘折磨’得不轻，但每个人都顶住压力、绽放成果。戏剧教育的意义也在于此——希望大家把这份专注与执着，带到生活中、学业中。”

The students also enthusiastically shared their thoughts: "I can't believe this is the result of just six days of rehearsals!" "This experience is destined to be a remarkable chapter of my youth." "We came together through this drama — I hope we can meet again in the future!" The lead teacher was moved to tears: "Thank you to every student for your persistence and hard work — I am so proud of all of you!"

同学们也纷纷表达了自己的心声：“不敢相信这是六天排练的成果！”“这份经历注定是我青春里浓墨重彩的一笔。”“我们因话剧结缘，希望日后还能相聚！”带队老师更是热泪盈眶：“感谢每一位同学的坚持与努力，为大家骄傲！”

From the rehearsal room to the stage, from the school classroom to the Greater Bay Area grand event, this valuable performance experience is not only a vivid demonstration of our school's achievements in arts education, but also another testament to the deep connection between our school and the Soong Ching Ling Foundation.

从排练厅到舞台，从校内课堂到湾区盛会，这次宝贵的参演经历，不仅是我校艺术教育成果的一次生动展示，更是我校与宋庆龄基金会深厚渊源的又一次见证。

For a long time, our school has upheld the educational philosophy of Madame Soong Ching Ling — "to give the most precious things to children and youth" — and has actively integrated into the broader platform of youth public welfare exchange in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Being invited to participate in such a high-profile event is a testament to the Soong Ching Ling Foundation's full trust and recognition of our school's achievements in nurturing young people.

长期以来，我校秉承宋庆龄先生“把最宝贵的东西给予青少年”的教育理念，积极融入粤港澳大湾区青少年公益交流的大平台。本次受邀参与如此高规格的活动，正是宋基会对我校育人成果的充分信任与肯定。

We deeply understand that this was not merely a performance, but a mobile ideological and political lesson — a vivid form of patriotic education — allowing students to grasp the meaning of national devotion and carry forward the spirit of public welfare through the act of portraying the stories of great historical figures.

我们深知，这不仅是一次演出，更是一堂行走的思政课、一场生动的爱国主义教育——让同学们在演绎伟人故事的过程中，感悟家国情怀，赓续公益精神。

In the future, our school will continue to deepen its collaboration with the Soong Ching Ling Foundation and partners from all sectors, guiding more students to engage in public welfare, develop a passion for the arts, and carry forward our cultural heritage — writing a brilliant new chapter for the youth of this new era on the vast stage of the Greater Bay Area!

未来，我校将继续深化与宋庆龄基金会及各界的合作，引领更多学子投身公益、热爱艺术、传承文化，在大湾区的广阔舞台上，书写属于新时代青少年的精彩篇章！
